I'm leaving tonight for 5 days in San Francisco.
I'll be covering Proposition 8 (the measure to overturn California's recently won marriage equality victory), visiting some museums, catching up with friends, seeing some performances and maybe, just maybe, doing some big heady thinking. Or something. I'm taking a Greyhound bus, which should be an adventure all by itself.
There are sometimes things that people - friends or strangers - say that can just rattle you.

If you you make it....
The SF Eagle has a legendary Sunday afternoon beerbust. Go if you can....."mancandy" galore!
Usually much more interesting than the nights in the bars. Have fun...Bear Boy
Hey BB - oh yeah, I know the Eagle Beer Bust pretty well in SF... Don't collapse, but I think I'll be staying away from the SF bars this time around... too much else to see and do!
Sorry for the typo!
Should be....If you CAN make it.
I understand. Lately when I travel it's more about the trip, sights, and quality time. I spent many a trip whooping it up at some out of town bars....only to have a late start the next A.M. That's a good way to waste time and ruin your trip. But I thought I'd mention the SF Eagle anyway....always a great time!
Bon Voyage & have a safe trip!
Please, just don't get your head sawed off on the bus.
LDS (Mormon) 'Yes on 8' Game Plan
I've posted a letter sent from Boyd K. Packer on July 28th to the California LDS stake presidents:
BKP July 28
Apparently, there is a plan in place to put up one million 'Yes on 8' yard signs at 7:00 am on September 22nd.
